Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account, installing the Mac app or using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy. If you use Foselo for a business, you confirm you can accept for it, and "you" includes that business. You must be 18 or over.

Couples and guests who only open a link from a studio can use those pages for viewing, choosing and approving. They agree to use them only for that purpose.

Your account and team

Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it. Owners control who joins the studio and what they can do, and are responsible for what their team does in Foselo.

Free trial

Every new studio gets 30 days free with every feature, and no card is needed. When a trial or plan ends, you can keep designing and your album files stay on your Mac. Publishing, client selections, deliveries, transfers and export stop until you choose a plan. Links your clients already have keep working.

Plans and payment

Current prices are on the Pricing page. Plans differ by team size and storage, and they renew at the end of each paid period until cancelled. Prices in India include all taxes.

If we change a price, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies. If a payment fails, we may pause paid features after giving you notice.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Foselo is software you can try free for 30 days first, so all payments are final and we don't give refunds, including for unused time, unless the law requires it.

Your photos and content

Your photos, albums and client details remain yours. We claim no ownership. You give us a limited permission to store, copy, process and display them only as needed to run Foselo for you, including showing them to the people you share them with. We won't use them for marketing without your written permission, or to train AI models.

You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you add, including from couples, guests, second shooters and parents or guardians of children who appear in the photos.

Acceptable use

• Don't upload anything illegal, or content that sexually exploits or harms children.
• Don't infringe anyone's rights or share people's images in a way they haven't allowed.
• Don't attack, overload, probe or bypass the security or limits of the service.
• Don't access another studio's data, reverse engineer the software except where the law allows, or resell the service.

We may pause or close an account that breaks these rules or puts others at risk. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why first and give you the chance to fix it or export your data.

The Mac app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use the Mac app for your studio while your account is in good standing. It may need updates to keep working with the service. Foselo links to photos on your drive, so keep your own backups of your originals and album files. We can't recover files that are only on your Mac.

Print checks and approvals

Foselo's checks flag common problems such as missing files, low resolution, and faces or text in the wrong place. They help, but they don't guarantee a perfect print. Lab specifications vary, so check final files against your lab's requirements before you order. You remain responsible for what you print and deliver.

An approval records that a client approved a specific album version. It doesn't replace your own agreement with your client, and any dispute over your work is between you and your client.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Foselo reliable, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. We may change or improve features. If we remove something important, we'll give you reasonable notice.

Ending your account

You can delete your account or studio in Settings. There's a 30-day window in which you can change your mind, after which your online data is deleted as described in the Privacy policy. Please export what you need first.

Our intellectual property

Foselo's software, name, logo and design belong to us.

Warranties and liability

Foselo is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. To the same extent, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost bookings or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses from claims by others that arise from content you add without the necessary rights, or from your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Please contact us first, since most things can be sorted out directly. Mandatory rights in your own country stay in place.

Changes to these terms

We'll update the date above, and tell studios by email before important changes take effect. Continuing to use Foselo after that means you accept them.
